New Moodboards on Midjourney

Midjourney released a new personalization feature that allows you to build mood boards. Here are a few of mine to try.

Midjourney has introduced a new feature called "moodboards," enhancing the user personalization fearture set for creating your AI artwork.  This feature enables you to upload images or select images from your gallery that reflect a desired style or theme.  Midjourney then analyzes these images to create a code or "profile" that you can apply to generate new artwork that will blend with this aesthetic.

To utilize moodboards, users can log into their Midjourney account, navigate to the "Personalize" tab, and select the "Create Moodboard" option.  As more images are added to a moodboard, the model will remix them in more complex ways, which creates a dynamic tool for generating art.  At this time, you can turn on your global profile plus one moodboard.  You can not yet blend two moodboards during one submitted generation.

Because of the end of year Relax-a-thon where Midjourney has turned on the relax mode for everyone to use unlimited, I was able to begin building some moodboards which I will share here.  

I started by asking CHATgpt for a list of 20 moodboard topics to use.  I then took that list and began gathering images either from my own gallery or from the explorer gallery that fit the theme I was trying to achieve.  I then built the moodboard.  

I tested the moodboard code with two simple prompts.  "A gorgeous landscape" and "A gorgeous commercial model" to see how the code would perform.  Sometimes I used the prompt for "Abstract art" if the code was for something like surrealism which is an art form.   I used --chaos 10 --stylize 200 except for the vibrant energy which I tested at 50 and 150 because it was so vibrant.
