Composite Image from Stock Photos

Today I created an art composite. I used several stock images from either Adobe stock or stock from my stock library. The image is titled "Beach Dreaming" and it includes a model face and several blended images of shorelines and ocean waves with a few textures.

I saw an image on Midjourney that I liked and it was the image that inspired the artwork. The midjourney image is a bit more abstract and much more vivid with higher contrast while mine is softer and more photo realistic with the waves. But I think anyone that sees both images can see the inspiration I gathered from the AI image.

I often use my Midjourney tool for inspiration. After all, it is a tool for photographers and artists to use. I have a class prepared that I'm about to record and add to this site to talk about how I use some of the AI tools like CHATgpt and Midjourney in my artistic workflow. I seldom if ever use the actual AI output (other than when I'm intentionaly building AI backgrounds) but I use the storytelling images to inspire my composites. The course I'm developing will walk through how I approach the AI tools for compositing. This image is a perfect example of how I might use an AI image for inspiration. Hope you like it.
